This is a list of the necessary supplies that each student must have at the beginning of the school year 2008-2009.

Grades 6, 7, and 8

*Scientific calculator  (Texas Instruments TI-30XA recommended)

 One or the other - Color markers – wide and thin – (not permanent)

                           -  Color (SHARPENED) pencils

 Ruler – metric - centimeter

 Scissors

 Eraser

 Pencil sharpener (hand held with cover)

 2 Dry erase markers fine point (low or no odor) one black and one any other color

 2 Dry erase markers large point (low or no odor) one black and one any other color

 4 packs of loose leaf paper

*9 Spiral notebooks - one for each class (For some classes, more than one notebook may be needed)

*7 folders - one for each class

 Red, blue and black pens – to be replenished during the year, as needed 

 #2 pencils – (SHARPENED) to be replenished during the year, as needed

 Zippered pouch to put pens/pencils in – No box

**Assignment notebook – to be purchased at school ($4.00)

 3 Boxes of Kleenex to be shared

 1 roll of paper towels

 8oz. Hand Sanitizer (like Purel)

*1 IBM Computer disk or Flash USB Drive

 3 reams of white copy paper

 Up-to-date Library card – free of fines (card optional)

*World Atlas ($3.00, to be purchased at school)

**In an effort to assist students in becoming responsible and accountable in completing homework assignments, each 6th, 7th, and 8th grade student must purchase a uniform assignment book for $4.00 at school.

You may purchase these assignment books at the Open House or the first week of school.
