Fr. Thomas Kunnel, TOR is a member of the Third Order Regular (TOR) Franciscans, headquartered in Rome. In the United States the TOR Franciscans have approximately 80 communities, including two Universities: St. Francis University, Steubenville, Ohio and St. Francis University, Loreto, Pennsylvania.
Father Tom belongs to the Province of St. Francis, India, and originally hails from the southern part of India. His assignments prior to appointment as the Pastor of Immaculate Conception Church include: Associate Pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton and Associate Pastor of Church of the Epiphany in Coon Rapids.
Father Toms leadership and work in both the parish and school serves as a bridge between these two communities, creating one cohesive parish at Immaculate Conception.
