Pre-K Early Education Program
Purpose: Immaculate Conception's Pre-K Early Education Program exists to develop children of Pre-K age socially, spirtually, mentally, emotionally and physically.
We provide an atmosphere for the whole child that is nurturing and caring. We welcome children regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, or sex, who wish to enroll in our Pre-K program.

Curricular Offerings
The Pre-K teacher will provide a wide range of learning experiences in the classroom.
Learning experiences will include art and creativity, creative play, social activities, discovery activities, puppets, literature, and pre-math activities.
Pre-K students will take full advantage of Immaculate Conception's specialist classes. Physical Education specialist will lead children in large motor activities in a full-size gym. Media specialist will teach computer class in computer lab. Music specialist will teach music.

Age Requirements Children are eligible to enroll in Immaculate Conception School Pre-K who are 3 years old by September 1, 2010. Children are required to have the ability to use the bathroom independently.
Sessions are subject to change due to enrollment.

School Year
The Pre-K year begins in September 2010 and continues through May 2011. Children are expected to enroll for the entire school year.
The Pre-K program will follow the Immaculate Conception School calendar.
Staffing Ratio: The Pre-K will have a staff per child ratio of 1:10.

Transportation
Transportation must be provided by parents to and from the Pre-K Program.

Immunizations and Medical Records
Up to date immunizaton and medical forms are required.
Forms will be provided prior to the beginning of the Pre-K year and must be returned to the school office by August 28, 2010.
Your child will not be allowed to start school until all forms are complete and turned in to the School Office.
