This is a list of the necessary supplies that each student must have at the beginning of the school year 2008-2009.

Second Grade

- Backpack

- 2 Large boxes of Kleenex

- School box – 5” x 8” size

- #2 Pencils – several  (No mechanical pencils)

- Box of crayons – 24 count

- Wide-tip Markers

- 12 count SHARPENED color pencils

- 4 Glue sticks

- 1 Small bottle of school glue

- 6 Pocket folders (one of each color – blue, green, red, yellow and 2 plastic any color)

- 3 Spiral notebooks (WIDE lined) – one of each color – blue, red and green

- 1 Wide lined composition notebook

- 1 one inch white 3 ring binder with slipcover in front

- 8 dividers with tabs for 3 ring binder

- 2 Eraser (MAGIC RUB-available at Wal-Mart, Office Max or Office Depot)

- 1 Shoebox sized clear storage bin

- 2 Red ball point pens

- 2 Dry erase markers fine tip

- 3 reams of white copy paper

- Paint shirt

- Scissors

- Watercolor paints

- Library card – free of fines

- Addition and subtraction flashcards (to keep at home for use there)
